Characteristics
The Peruvian apple cactus (Cereus repandus) is a tree-like columnar cactus with bluish-green, ribbed, spiny columns that branch and reach 3-10 metres. In summer it opens large white night-blooming flowers, followed by edible red fruit. It wants full sun, gritty cactus soil and very little water. It is highly drought tolerant.

Water needs: bassa — always check soil moisture before watering.
Prefers pieno sole: provide the right light and rotate the plant for even growth.
Recommended soil: drenante per cactacee. Refresh the substrate every 1-2 years.
Dust the leaves with a damp cloth to support photosynthesis.
Feed during the growing season (spring-summer) and stop in winter.
