Characteristics
Foxtail agave (Agave attenuata) is a Mexican succulent with soft, spineless grey-green leaves in a broad rosette on a short trunk. It wants full sun or part shade, well-drained mineral soil and very little water. When mature it sends up a long arching flower spike, after which the rosette dies. It is safe around children. It reaches 60-150 cm.

Practical tips
Water needs: bassa — always check soil moisture before watering.
Prefers pieno sole: provide the right light and rotate the plant for even growth.
Recommended soil: drenante minerale. Refresh the substrate every 1-2 years.
Dust the leaves with a damp cloth to support photosynthesis.
Feed during the growing season (spring-summer) and stop in winter.
